Everest Base Camp Trek Overview

The Everest Base Camp trek is a 12–14 day journey through Nepal’s Khumbu region, following the classic route from Lukla to the foot of the world’s highest peak. Along the way, you’ll pass through Sherpa villages, cross suspension bridges above glacial rivers, visit ancient monasteries, and walk beneath some of the most iconic mountains on Earth — including Ama Dablam, Lhotse, and Everest itself.

This is a physically demanding trek designed for those ready to challenge themselves while moving at a steady, supportive pace. We prioritise proper acclimatisation, small groups, and experienced local guides to ensure both safety and meaningful connection.

True to Unbound’s ethos, this journey blends adventure with intention. Expect moments of effort and awe, cultural immersion, breath-led grounding practices, and time to reflect on the experience. The goal is not only to reach Base Camp — but to return home stronger, clearer, and deeply connected to the landscape and community that make this region extraordinary.
